Fine, but could someone just remove the "where we strongly recommend"
part, which is the whole point of this thread? The build instructions
don't recommend anything like that.



It must be understood as an additional requirement to the build
instructions.

OK, maybe it should be understood that way, but it's actually not understood that way.

What I read in the installation notes is that the build instructions recommend something. When you read the build instructions they don't recommend that something.

It's just a matter of changing:
	and then proceed as described in the build instructions,
	where we strongly recommend using GNU make
to:
	and then proceed as described in the build instructions.
	We strongly recommend using GNU make

Now if no one wants to fix this problem, that's OK with me, I won't bother you anymore.
