entry symbol _start

Hi,

I have some Fortran sources and am trying to link them using the
complete gcc package 2.95.2 on a linux machine. 
Objects are generated without any problems with the g77 -c file.f
command, Linking also finishes but with a warning : 
ld: warning: cannot find entry symbol _start; defaulting to 08048570
and the resulting executable is not that executable as it should be.
