Re: Radical proposal: skip 3.4

Just one mail from a bugzilla perspective on the C++ side: when I started
working on the bug database 15 months ago, there were 570 open C++
reports. We now have 301, and some of them are also scheduled for 3.3.3 or
3.4. Even if they don't get fixed, the C++ frontend has still
significantly improved and is in better shape than ever. Skipping 3.4
would be a real shame.

It has been noted elsewhere that the fact that we have more open
regressions is not necessarily due to worse quality, but due to better
tracking of all the bugs we have!
