Linking static libraries

Subject: Linking static libraries

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way to link static libraries together.
Ex:
file1.o file2.o => lib1.a
file3.o file4.o => lib2.a
lib1.a lib2.a => lib3.a    <===

Is it possible?
