Automated replies to email based upon any contents of the email message
that are not authenticated appear to be, uhm, wrong. Personally, I've
been putting more and more of these systems on my spam list and just
filtering it all into the trashbin. :-(
The reason why a human is necessary is, when they get 100 new messages
that that they've never seen before, a human isn't going to send out
100s of emails, but a program happily will. The antivirus email reply
programs are as bad as spammers, as, they _know_ that the email is
forged, with 100% certainty, and they _still_ send out email to the
innocent person. This is why, it is reasonable to just put them all
into a spam blocking list.
The days of running unprotected email boxes, is basically over. Train
your filter to junk all the trash, and presto, it'll be (mostly) clean
again.
