The top level config directory for gcc/src has an entire subdirectory (mpw) as well as a file (mpw-mh-mpw) which are devoted to some sort of MPW build process (not anything currently in CVS!). I believe you said several months ago that these were obsolete and you were going to clean them out.

Can I blow them away for 3.4 basic improvements, please? :-)

There's also a bunch of nonfunctional MPW support code in libiberty,
and there might be some lurking in other subdirectories. I'm
definitely in favor of removing all of it. However, the last time
this was proposed, some enthusiasts popped up and squelched the idea.

There was some interest in retaining the source code bits, but not the configury.
I might even have received a proposed patch recently, need to check my mbox.
