I apologize; I had misunderstood your point. Obviously if there are
buggy GNAT distributions out there, we can't expect them to work
(although the bootstrap procedure ought to insulate us from most of
the problems)
My impression was that the merge from ACT introduced deliberate
breakage of backward compatibility, and that was what I was objecting
to.
