But the 3.0.x branch never worked right for Linux/mips. I am not sure
when the 3.0.x branch will work for Linux/mips. I'd like to get my
Linux/mips patches in. It seems that I may have better luck with trunk,
besides I want the -march/-mtune patch for Linux/mips. I'd love to see
the 3.0.x branch work on Linux/mips. But I won't hold my breath. In the
meantime, my gcc 2.96 has been working beautifully for me on Linux/mips.
