There are two things, the c++ testsuite needs running at at various
optimization settings, so we can check the optimizers don't break things.
(As you can probably guess, I have a C++ centric view on this.)
And secondly measure performance in some way. Beyond that, I've not
thought further. Any ideas & implementations most welcome.
