I've had to put gcc-2.95.2.1 on hold for a little while. But expect to get
back to it tonight.
The only difference between 2.95.2 and 2.95.2.1 will be a change to make
GCC work with glibc-2.2. That's it. So, no you wouldn't want/need to
recompile your cygwin distribution since it doesn't use glibc.
