Patch for libstdc++-v3.
The libstd++ parts are OK.
N.B. libstdc++ patches should be sent to the libstdc++ list (which
saves you CCing individual maintainers.)
(Will this change mean I need to have 1.11.1 and 1.11.6 both installed
and adjust my path depending on whether I'm working on trunk or a 4.x
branch?)
