I keep a monthly dump of the CVS repository on CD-R, for backup
purposes, in a monthly series since May 2001 (with a few earlier
dumps).  However, it is not on-line, and it's not likely to be put
on-line.

I would be more concerned that people may have used the snapshot tags
to refer to things like the exact version merged into their private
trees, or even into branches in the GCC tree; I'm pretty sure I've
seen that at least once.
