Is include/c_compatibility still useful?!?

I can now confirm the above: interestingly, the build fails in libsupc++ 
already...

Also, sorry, but I'm not 100% convinced that --enable-cheaders=c is 
related to c_compatibility:
it seems to me that the latter can only be enabled manually in 
configure.host...
