basic_istream error building SPEC eon on AIX

	Okay, we're back to square one.

	Eon should not work on any of the SPEC testers, but it does.  SPEC
has not released a patch for eon, which would admit that it is not valid
C++.  Eon fails to build on AIX.

	What is going on?
