I would like to thank you for the time you spent reading my various postings and
replying *very* interesting observations to each of them. I have learned so
much!

In particular, I find very interesting two points:

1- That *both* the it_IT and the fr_FR locales do not include such *minimal*
piece of information corresponding to thousand_sep() and the grouping(). Don't
you find this really unexpected?!?

2- It never occurred to me before that the C++ concept of "C" locale is
different from the real C locales...
