Yeh. I tried compiling the version said to work on rhug from source as suggested by Mark Wielaard [mark@klomp.org] and that went down alright. gcj definitely gets grumpy on class files from other compilers.

Tomorrow I'll be trying to assemble a complete executable.

I think rhug only builds with certain known versions of BC.
