Unfortunately the above sets the CLASSPATH to undefined variable and
then gij takes the java stuff from sun. ARGGGH.

Yes, bootstrap, make install.

Could it be HFS+(install directory) vs UFS (build directory) (case
insensitivity on HFS+)
