ZipInputStream brokenness

Yes, I've been doing this for six months now with XWT.  I suggested
merging the classpath implementation:

    http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/java/2002-06/msg00023.html

But it got vetoed for reasons I don't understand.  Apparently people
would rather have a broken java.util.zip than a working one.  Go
figure.
