Building snapshot on sparc-sun-solaris

Hi,

I'm trying to build the GCC snapshot gcc-20010514 on SPARC/Solaris 2.6
again.  The last time I tried a year and a half ago, all Java programs
core dumped because of problems with Sun's as and ld.

This time I'm using GNU binutils 2.11 instead of Sun's as and ld.  And I
have the full snapshot downloaded.

Will the following configure command line do?:

[gcc-build] $ ../gcc-20010514/configure --prefix=/opt/gcc-20010514
--enable-threads --with-as=/path/tp/gnu/as --with-ld=/path/to/gnu/ld

Are there any additional configuration options that I must choose?

Is there a place on the web that lists what works and what doesn't?
