gcj-2.95.1 recipe for sparc-sun-solaris2.7

Just FYI, I'm building on sparc-sun-solaris2.6 and did not need to 
specify --with-as (just using the binutils ld in --with-ld did the 
trick).  I don't know for sure but I'm guessing that --with-gnu-ld would 
work also but might need to be built in the same hierarchy as gcc to have 
any effect (I added my binutils/install/bin to the start of my PATH but 
configuring --with-gnu-ld seemed to ignore it and used the solaris ld 
instead); can anyone confirm that's how --with-gnu-ld works (or explain 
otherwise)?

Hmm, I didn't seem to have trouble with the garbage collector on 
solaris2.6.  Could you give me an example of the trouble you had (or 
point me to a thread in the archive and I'll dig it out).
