returning strings from native methods --Duh-- Nevermind

The CNI docs (most of the sections) seem to imply that the user needs to
know JNI before jumping into CNI. I had the same problem as Daniel and
eventually played around to get the String return thing working. I believe
example code snippets will go a long way in helping the users.

Tom: I'm also copying you on this email because for some reason I am unable
