GCC test request for solaris2.7 w/ability to (de)install OS patches

As noted in these two testsuite reports for GCC:
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2004-03/msg01482.html
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2004-03/msg01330.html
Eric and I are getting different libstdc++-v3 results on solaris2.7.
(Mine are failing and his aren't.) The logfile on my system shows an
ICE. GDB says it's in the call to iconv(cd, 0,0,0,0) from
convert_using_iconv in cppcharset.c line 559.
My suspicion is that it's a bug in Solaris' iconv or related stuff
that's fixed by an OS patch Eric has installed but that I don't.
I'd like to add a sentence to the Solaris install notes about this but
I can't test my hypothesis. Neither Eric nor I have the ability to
install or remove OS patches on our boxes so we can't be sure this
particular Solaris patch fixes it or not.
If anyone out there has a solaris2.7 box and can obtain Solaris OS
patches I'd very much appreciate it if you would try a test for me.
Build gcc (3.4 or 3.5) and run the testsuite with and without the
following patch. If without the patch you get a libstdc++ result like
mine and with the patch it's clean like Eric's then we've identified
the trigger.
Patch-ID# 112689-02
Synopsis: SunOS 5.7: UTF-8 locale ICONV patch
