how about if the company has both a firewall in place *and* a filter
system like websense (which basically doesn't allow direct connections
to port 80, but redirects them through a proxy controlled by a javascript 
program?

I've never been able to figure out that one. I really wish that there was 
an anonymous *ftp* interface for cvs, would make things much easier.
