Sounds like you're getting errors from a file generated by bison, then.
If you have bison installed, you might try deleting the .c file and letting
it regenerate it for you.

This is not a normal occurrance, so there's still something strange going
on at your end.  The above is a workaround, not a fix, but it might let
you get farther.
