Are cctools-528 compatible with apple-gcc 3.3 build 1493/Darwin 6.8 (Mac OS X 10.2.8) toolchain?

Are those cctools-528 (see

ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/infrastructure/cctools-528.dmg ) compatible 
with the toolchain that comes with Mac OS X 10.2.8/Darwin 6.8 (e.g. 
apple-gcc 3.3 build 1493) or will there be some nasty side effects?
