Is gnu ld really supported for this configuration?
The target specific installation notes on gcc.gnu.org read
GCC 3.0 and up support HP-UX 11. On 64-bit capable systems, there are two distinct ports.
The hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11* port generates code for the 32-bit pa-risc runtime architecture.
XXX It uses the HP linker. XXX
Also, with hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11 and gcc-3.3 (same with HP cc) i get in configuring binutils-2.14:
"This configuration is not supported in the following subdirectories: ld"
So how did you achieve to us the gnu linker with the hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.00
