Testsuite: separating optimization tests from correctness tests?

Both are in the testsuite, and both are useful.

However, a regression or long-lived failure on an optimization test 
isn't nearly as nasty as the same thing on a correctness test.  It
would be nice to be able to tell the difference easily.  :-O

Perhaps some verbiage could be added somewhere asking people to please
note in their testcases *which* they are testing?  Or something like 
that?
