But is it my problem? Who is going to sue me?
It is the problem of the gcc, and the fsf. 

You guys have told me that you wont help or support my
project so why should I care?

The FSF has lawyers, I have told them what I intend to
do. I have asked for advice, they ask me to stop. I
did. Now it looks like there is no difference between
what I am doing and what is supported already.
Why should I stop a good project to protect people who
are not playing fair? 

It turns out that the GCC has holes RTL and AST dumps,
non free software  file exchange of asts (with
graphvis) and people using 
the tree dumper for making software (SWAGIT), free and
non free. 
The tree-serializer also has a file format, and open
up new doors. If you allow for a scripting language in
the gcc, then you can allow perl. If you allow for
non-gpled scripting, then you are allowing for
non-free  compiler passes. 

If the gcc group supports all this, then there is no
harm in the introspector. Remove the tree dumper and
then you wont have any problems. Dont pick on the
small guy, sort out your problems.

I dont need a lawyer, the gcc needs one! And a good
review of internal practices, and a review of how your
modules are being used. Review your policies, publish
them.

I have supplied rms will all the potential and real
abuses of the gcc that I could find. Almost all use
the tree dumper. 

You have to deal with the GXL group who are lurking on
this list, dont pick on me, they are making non free
software to use the asts, and supported by big money. 
Deal with the real problems, I am not the problem!

I dont see why I should get snobbed, and that some
university get away with the same thing but you guys
think it is good. 

Make some consistent rules and I will follow them,
talk to your lawyers and publish the rules. Dont pick
on the small guy who is trying to help. Dont shoot the
messenger.
