Newbie wants to install gcc on windows 98

Hello,

I am brand new to Gnu and to gcc.

I have a Dell laptop with Windows 98 second edition.

I want to install gcc, specifically to compile C++ programs.

I have no clue where to begin.

I would be most grateful for any help you can provide.
