Hmmm, unfortunately, it doesn't "work for me" ;-)
I unpacked it into /usr/local/gcc-ada/.... Subsequently:
(CC=/usr/local/gcc-ada/bin/gcc export CC; ../gcc/configure
--prefix=/usr/snp --disable-nls && make bootstrap && make -k check)
It *does* find the Ada-capable gcc, but not gnatbind (!):
checking for gnatbind... no
checking for compiler driver that understands Ada...
/usr/local/gcc-ada/bin/gcc
and then:
/usr/local/gcc-ada/bin/gcc -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -O2 -I.
-I../../gcc/libiberty/../include -W -Wall -Wtraditional -pedantic
../../gcc/libiberty/choose-temp.c
In file included from ../../gcc/libiberty/choose-temp.c:24:
/usr/local/gcc-ada/lib/gcc-lib/alpha-unknown-linux-gnu/3.1/include/stdio.h:190:
parse error before "__attribute_malloc__"
/usr/local/gcc-ada/lib/gcc-lib/alpha-unknown-linux-gnu/3.1/include/stdio.h:190:
ISO C forbids data definition with no type or storage class
make[1]: *** [choose-temp.o] Error 1
What am I doing wrong ?
