succesful build & install of gcc 3.0.1

[Peter van Hoof]

I have succesfully built and installed gcc 3.0.1 on a sparc-sun-solaris2.8
platform (including the java libraries, after removing the old java libraries
before commencing the build).

Kind regards,

Peter van Hoof.
