SPARC PR1902: Help required

I spent a while looking at PR1902 which is a regression from GCC
2.95.x.

The problem lies somewhere in the machine description: we have an insn
that we must split (because we have a `#' for the output template),
but the split gives us instructions we cannot recognize.

I am stumped.  I would greatly appreciate it if someone would take a
look.  If you are willing, please let me know.
