No.  The libgcc.so is a system library and closely coupled with the
libc.  Since the interface of the libgcc.so has to be controlled very
strictly this means that updating it will not break existing binaries,
only new functionality (or bug fixes exposed by a glibc upgrade) might
become necessary.
