I can understand why somebody would want to do something like this...
Especially in cases
where there is also an archive, which any spammer out there can search
for the regexp .*@.*
In fact, I'm quite hesitant to post to anything that maintains an
archive, for
exactly that reason -- if you were to do a DNS check, there are still
other ways to
invalidate the address mike-nospam-@myplace.com
