I forgot to mention that I'm experiencing that -fno-rtti problem on a
RedHat 5.0 system (x86).

Reading specs from /home/tudor/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/egcs-2.91.08/specs
gcc version egcs-2.91.08 980214 (gcc-2.8.0 release)
