egcs-1.1 release issues

egcs-1.1 as of 980827 builds the tagged glibc just fine.
A word of warning though that the tagged glibc is not
fine on alpha. 

After fixing the bugs in glibc (for those who care to try
a newer cvs version), all tests pass except for

  * complex float (see complex-5),

  * exp10 accuracy (which is currently implemented in terms
    of exp, and so is not surprising).
