running testsuite on commercial compilers: off topic?

Just for laughs, I found that SGI f77 and f90 compilers pass
enough of testsuite to produce interesting results.  112 of the
tests fail outright due to incompatible options.  MipsPro 7.2 f77
passes 135 tests, and f90 passes 147 tests.  Each of them
passes a number of tests which the other fails.  I used Alexandre
Oliva's script to do this while waiting forever for my hp box to
repeat the gcc-2.8.1/g77-0.5.23 tests.
