Jeff hi,
After a false start and 2.5 hours of compilation time (what have
you guys been upto to write so much software ?) I have finally mangaed
to install the latest snapshot of EGCS, which I am pleased to say does
work on the HP PA processor.
Dizzy with success..I didnt want to have to go back to the HP
C++ compiler (not when we are using xemacs and xxgdb..etc as our
development enviroment), I would like to ask you a few more questions.,
if I may.
Qu 1) Has a date been set for the official version release
Qu 2) Will this version also have support for the HP_UX 10.20 platform
series C110 and C160L machines.
Qu 3) Does the work you are doing contribute to the GNU C/C++ software
or are you a seperate development arm.
Qu 4) After release, will the software be available for purchase vi,
for example Walnut Creek.
Will keep you appraised of any annomalies we find.
Regards
