GCC-4.0.0 compilation problem

Hi,
I'm trying to build GCC-4.0 on my linux box (Suse 9.1, 2.6.11 kernel). 
Configuration script ran thru fine.

When i issue the command make, build fails saying this error

./config.status: line 910: ./../../config-ml.in: No such file or directory

I've tried it on CYGWIN also, and faced the same problem.

Any body faced this ??
what is the work around
