Does gcc have a linker Option to do this?

Hello all,

    I am porting a project from Green Hill MULTI to GNU. Now there is a problem for me.


    The MULTI has a option like this:
    
    -A file: Makes symbol names and addresses from file available during
    linking, where file is a fully-linked image file. The image file’s
    contents will not be included in the output; only those symbols
    addresses needed by the current link are imported. This is
    useful when one linker image must refer to symbols that are
    located in another separately linked image.
    (alias: -R)

    Can anyone tell me if GCC has a linker option to do the same thing? Or can i do it in another way?
