Cross GCC for mips64-linux

I've never used mips64-linux or an IBook, but it looks to me
    like you are missing the pthread.h header from mips64-linux. I
    suggest you double check to make sure you've got all the c and
    posix library headers for mips64-linux where xgcc can see them. 

If won't be using threads, you may consider --disable-threads.
