Question regarding the -msparclite directive

In your online documentation regarding the -msparclite compiler directive
you state

"These options are deprecated and will be deleted in a future GCC release.
They have been replaced with `-mcpu=xxx'. "

I am working on a very large system that currently uses the -msparclite
directive

Will we get a fatal error from this future release if we still have
the -msparclite directive on the command line?

Thanks.
