Building gcc 9.95.2 toolchain to run vxWorks on a PowerPC

Dave,

Thanks yet again for your help.  I couldn't get the compiler to build in the
gcc-2.95.2/gcc directory, I simply ran make install from the build directory
where the libs failed to build.  That seems to have installed the cross
compiler in to the prefix directory.  Does that sound ok to you?

Also, is there somewhere I can look to find out how all this configure etc
stuff works.  Surly the process is explained somewhere.  And why are there a
number of copies of the various binaries in the prefix directory with
different names?
