Ok, sorry guys... This BUG is INVALID. Our fault. The assembler statement that
we dubbed "bogus" is completely ok (the adress of incx is never used again) and we
found the real source of the segfault (R uses strictly ints, not long ints in
the C-Parts of its Code).
