I've looked for a regression, and the news is bad; a check out using:

cvs -z 9 update -D "2000/02/01 00:00:00" -Pd gcc 

shows the problem, so its been there for a considerable time. Its *not*
a regression from recent releases.  I haven't searched any of the
branches...

I could search farther back in the past, but its pretty obious that
ist not a recent regerssion :-)

Who's the reload expert that can take a look a this?
