Internel compiler error on invalid template code

While in the midst of a major structural change in my application, I
recompiled the code to find all the places that were affected by that
change. Instead I got an internal compiler error from gcc :-)
I then went to < http://www.codesourcery.com/gcc-compile.shtml > and
found, the error persists in the current experimental
gcc-Version. Therefore I post this bug-report.
My gcc-Version is:
# gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-linux/2.95.2/specs
gcc version 2.95.2 20000313 (Debian GNU/Linux)
I cannot easily produce the configure arguments, they're the standard
ones supplied by debian, which I don't know :-)
compiling the attached preprocessed file yields:
# g++ dag_iterator_bag.ii
In file included from dag_iterator_bag.cc:8:
dag_iterator_bag.h:179: Internal compiler error.
dag_iterator_bag.h:179: Please submit a full bug report.
dag_iterator_bag.h:179: See <URL: http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/bugs.html > for instructions.
The online-compile at codesourcery's did produce a few more diagnostic
error messages:
dag_iterator_bag.h:177: warning: `class iterator' declares a new type at namespace scope; to refer to the inherited type, say `class dag_iterator_bag::iterator' (names from dependent base classes are not visible to unqualified name lookup)
dag_iterator_bag.h:178: warning: `class const_iterator' declares a new type at namespace scope; to refer to the inherited type, say `class dag_iterator_bag::const_iterator'
dag_iterator_bag.h:179: Internal compiler error in pop_binding, at cp/decl.c: 1208 Please submit a full bug report. See for instructions.
(Which I have not analysed yet). I know, my code is horrendously buggy
but I wanted to let you know of this internel compiler error
Thank's for that great product (I mean the C Compiler :-)
Stefan.
