gcc-2.95.3 April 12 incomplete C++ thunks patch breaks Linux/ia32

It is Jeff who put in that incomplete patch and did nothing about it
for more than a month after being told it was broken. I didn't blame
everyone else. I only blamed Jeff. I still believe Jeff is responsible
for breaking the gcc 2.95 branch.
