Windows registry on GNU/Linux :-)

[Marek Michalkiewicz]

I saw this while configuring CVS avr-gcc on a Linux host:

checking whether windows registry support is requested... yes
checking registry key on windows hosts... 2.96

I didn't request it, so it looks like some secret alliance of
the FSF and Micros~1 to bring the windows registry to the
unsuspecting masses of Linux users :-).

Seriously, I know it is ignored on non-windows hosts, but maybe
it should default to "no" on them? Just a cosmetic change...

Thanks and happy hacking,
Marek
