gcc parsing bug

Thanks for your bug report. I cannot reproduce the problem, gcc-2.95.2
compiles this just fine for me:

mira% cat a.c 
const int extern x;
mira% gcc -S a.c
mira%

Please note that you've omitted a number of details, you may want to
look at the section 'Reporting Bugs' of the gcc manual.
