kcontrol segfaults under egcs 1.1b

   In rebuilding kde 1.0/qt 1.33 under egcs 1.1b/binutils 2.9.1.0.11
on linuxppc I noticed that kcontrol segfaults. The problem would
appear to lie in the egcs 1.1b built qt 1.33 because when I regress
qt 1.33 to an egcs 1.0.2 built copy kcontrol built by egcs 1.1b runs fine.
This problem is also occurring under glibc 2.0.95 on linuxppc
and has been around for some time in the egcs 1.1 tree. Is anyone else
seeing this on other platforms than ppc?
